Short version: your documents never leave your device unless you choose to use Writing help.
What stays in your browser
Invoice Studio has no accounts and no database. Everything you type (business details, clients, line items, your logo, signatures and saved copies) is kept in your browser’s localStorage on this device so it is still there next time. It is not sent to us. PDFs are generated on your device.
Anyone with access to this browser profile can see that data. On a shared computer, clear it when you are done:
Writing help (AI)
If you press a Writing help button, the job description you typed in that box (plus the document type and currency) is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to draft wording. Client names, addresses and amounts from your document are not sent. We do not store the text; the model provider processes it to produce the reply. Don’t paste anything confidential into that box.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not collect the contents of your documents.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request logs (such as IP address) to serve and secure the site.
